Hope Harrison is a native Washingtonian and a life-long lover of art. Hope graduated from UVA’s College of Arts and Sciences in 2020 with degrees in Spanish and Studio Art, in addition to a minor in Philosophy. Most recently, she completed a Master’s in Commerce with a concentration in Marketing & Management from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce in 2021. 

Although she has most of her artistic training in printmaking, photography and drawing represent other important components of her portfolio. The majority of her work deals with philosophical concepts represented through symbols of her life and immediate environment, which are juxtaposed to create abstract compositions. Her pieces strive to transform and stimulate deeper reflections on the elements and questions of everyday life that are often passed by or taken for granted.
